Freedom to Read Lincolnwood

The Lincolnwood Library is Fundamental to our Community

Library

Books Unite Us

Your Library rights are being challenged by residents and outside influencers who want to choose and approve what you should be allowed to read.

Your freedom to read, to access, and to choose for yourself depends on who you vote for. Vote for the slate who will protect acceptance and inclusivity.

Your Freedom to Choose

The Lincolnwood Library serves our entire community as part of its mandate to uphold our rights under the First Amendment. All community members, including parents, should be trusted to choose the resources that they want to explore.

This includes materials that other families may not feel their kids are ready to experience. Our Library is and will remain inclusive. No child should be demeaned or feel embarrassed for their readiness to engage with materials that fit their specific needs.

We advocate for your Freedom to Read, your First Amendment Rights, and Inclusivity for All.
